Magna Kultura Foundation joins the country in celebrating the day of Philippine Independence at the Rizal Park in Manila.
The National Historic Institute invited Magna Kultura Foundation to take the Larong Pinoy Sports Camp at the open fields of the Rizal park on June 10 and 11, as part of the week-long Independence Day celebration .
The Larong Pinoy Play Camp features scientific drill methods in teaching the popular games of our heritage, such as Patintero, Tumbang Preso, Luksong Tinik, Hole, Piko and many more. The "Eskwe-Laro" sessions are divided into two main sessions: Drill instructions in the morning, and Hands-On Mini-Palaro in the afternoon.
Larong Pinoy Play Camps are currently being conducted in Barangays to give children wholesome play during summer vacation.
The Larong Pinoy outreach program is organized by Magna Kultura Foundation with the goal of reviving the games of our heritage among the new generation of Filipino children, as well as to instill pride in Filipino national culture.
Since the 1998 June 12 Centennial, Magna Kultura Foundation has been working with government and non-government organizations to promote Philippne National Culture. In keeping with tradition, we join the nation in celebrating the 2008 June 12 celebrations.
